The lodge is located in the gated mountain community of Connestee Falls, which is home to all types of protected wildlife.

Dogwood Mountain Lodge is a brand new
(completed in April 2008) 3 story custom home. Main floor consists of foyer, 1/2 bath, great room with gas fireplace, dining room, fully appointed kitchen, laundry area, master suite with king bed, sitting area, 12 jetted tub, walk-in shower, walk in closet. Large deck with gas grill and lake view. Upper floor offers 2 private bedroom suites with sitting area with daybed, view, queen bedroom area, and private full bath.  Basement floor has a lower deck and a new entertainment den.

We are also 6 miles south of Brevard, NC which offers small town charm. Make new memories and start new family traditions by celebrating the many arts, crafts and music street festivals while staying at Dogwood Mountain Lodge.

Some very famous movies were made in this area.  The Last of the Mohicans was filmed at Chimney Rock State Park and Dirty Dancing was filmed at Lake Lure.
